This Fireplace
is the center of the wall and dominates the whole family room. The Northville Michigan homeowner wanted
to re-do the old brick faced fireplace. We drew up a few
quick sketches of options for this fireplace remodel. The clients chose the Estate type fireplace
remodel. This is a very common fireplace remodeling design.
The remodeling
construction of our firplace surrounds are second to none! We only use hardwoods. We biscuit or dowel
pin our joints with glue. This assures that our remodeled fireplace surrounds seams will remain tight.
Fireplace surrounds are built at your home never from a box. We design the fireplace
surrounds to fit your home. We construct our fireplace surround to last and to remain an asset
to your home. Hearth and the area around the fireplace opening were covered in a stacked castle rock cultured stone. Each peice was layed out for a precise
fit before the start. Trimmed to fit tight.
